** LEADERS: In your groups this week spend some specific time in PRAYER for our Nation, Leaders, and all the families of service men & women of the armed forces who have given their lives for freedoms sake.

Sermon Title: "SONSHIP",  Part 2: Visionaries

Main Text:  Galatians 4: 1-7

Discussion Questions :

(Please feel free to modify questions to accommodate your specific group!)

  • READ Galatians 4: 1-7

  • Define what it is (means) to be an heir or an "inheritor".

  • Jesus is the heir to everything of God and the children of God are heirs right along with Him. Why? How does this truth give us great hope?

  • "We are joint heirs with Christ..." - What has God included us in? How does this speak to our true identity?

  • What prevents you from (gets in the way of) grabbing hold of your inheritance in God?

  • Self-evaluation: Do you strive, work, perform to be accepted or to satisfy God? How does the truth of your inheritance, and how you received it, refute that idea?

  •  The author of Hebrews makes it a point to say that Jesus is not ashamed to call you His brothers (sisters) (Heb. 2:11) ? Why is that? Why is Jesus not embarrassed, fearful, or apologetic in calling us that? (LEADERS: Think- The ROOT of the Gospel = the Holy for the unholy, the Son for the slaves) ...
